Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) – Tendercare Retirement

About the role

The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) will join our compassionate team at Tendercare Retirement, providing high‑quality nursing care to residents in a long‑term care setting on a part‑time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver care in accordance with established nursing standards, physicians’ orders and internal policies.
• Observe, record and report vital signs, symptoms and resident conditions.
• Assist with patient assessments and develop, implement, review and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Monitor health status, note changes, and coordinate referrals to physicians as needed.

Required profile

• Current certificate of competence and registration (or eligibility) with the provincial regulatory body.
• Previous experience in long‑term care or community home‑care settings, preferably with managerial responsibilities.
• Experience working with cognitively impaired residents.
• Strong knowledge of infection‑control practices and overall nursing care.
