About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Workshop Technician to join Rotork’s Edmonton facility. The successful candidate will maintain, repair and troubleshoot a range of mechanical and electrical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical workshop equipment.
- Diagnose equipment issues using analytical problem‑solving techniques and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Operate, calibrate and test equipment to ensure accuracy, quality and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and documentation of repairs, performance and testing results.
- Organise tools, parts inventory and work areas to support efficiency, cleanliness and safety.
- Follow safety protocols and collaborate with team members to prioritise work orders and meet deadlines.
Required profile
- Trade certificate or technical diploma, preferably with formal electrical training.
- 3‑5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, automation or flow‑control environments.
- Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
- Experience with actuation, instrumentation and valve systems; knowledge of Rotork actuators is an asset.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
