Brewery Electrician

About the role

Labatt is seeking a skilled Brewery Electrician to join its Edmonton plant. You will work on installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems that keep the brewery operating safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Install, alter, repair, and maintain a variety of electrical equipment and systems.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical code specifications and ensure compliance.
• Plan and illustrate wiring layouts, equipment, and fixtures based on job specs and local codes.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including disassembly and re‑assembly of electrical machinery.
• Conduct inspections to identify hazards or defects and maintain a preventative maintenance program.

Required profile

• Journeyman Certification (442A ticket) with at least 1 year of industrial electrician experience (3 years preferred).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with hydraulic or pneumatic equipment.
• Strong understanding of PLC troubleshooting and programming.
• Familiarity with SAP or other CMMS systems is an asset.
