Hardware Production Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Hardware Production Specialist to move our sensor products from engineering prototypes to reliable, field‑ready units. Based in our Victoria office, you will work closely with Engineering and Data Collection teams to assemble, test, configure and maintain sensor systems.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and test electronic and mechanical sensor systems following engineering documentation.
• Configure, validate and troubleshoot electro‑mechanical assemblies, repairing non‑conforming units.
• Maintain accurate build, configuration and inventory records and support procurement needs.
• Prepare, package and coordinate shipment of sensor equipment for field deployment.
• Collaborate with Engineering on New Product Introduction, providing feedback from production and testing.

Required profile

• Technologist Diploma or equivalent in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics or related field.
• 3+ years experience in production, hardware integration or product assembly.
• Proven ability to read technical drawings, specifications and assembly instructions.
• Experience with ERP/PLM or similar inventory management systems.
