Industrial Millwright

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Industrial Millwright to join our team in Mississauga. The role involves assembling automation components, product machinery, and transferring equipment while interpreting blueprints and installing equipment. The ideal candidate will work independently, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and pneumatic systems using hand and power tools according to work orders.
• Test assembled systems to ensure they meet quality, quantity, and timing expectations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for parts used, defective parts, and additional parts needed.
• Assist customers with needs assessments and complete repairs.
• Coordinate with material handling, sales, and other teams to expedite orders.
• Review and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures.
• Select appropriate machines, techniques, and tools for moving equipment and completing jobs.
• Maintain a safe and orderly work area.

Required profile

• 1‑5 years of assembly or shop experience (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a millwright or in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and sense of urgency.
• Detail‑oriented with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Completion of an accredited millwright certificate program.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
