Shop Supervisor – Production Scheduling & Team Lead

About the role

Proax Technologies is seeking a highly organized Shop Supervisor to lead production scheduling, oversee project execution, and ensure equipment reliability while maintaining health and safety standards in its Mississauga facility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and control production schedules, allocate resources, and monitor project progress to meet deadlines, budget, and scope.
• Manage equipment maintenance, procurement, inventory, and shipping/receiving processes.
• Implement cost‑control measures, quality standards, and health‑safety compliance.
• Coordinate with clients, designers, and internal stakeholders, providing technical guidance and reporting non‑conformances.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in production control or manufacturing.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• A degree or post‑secondary education in Mechanical, Industrial or a related technical field.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel.
