Travel Consultant – Full‑time Retail Sales

About the role

Join Flight Centre’s Toronto retail team as a Travel Consultant, where you’ll turn customer enquiries into memorable travel experiences. You’ll work in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment, balancing personal interaction with sales targets and commission.

Key responsibilities

• Convert in‑store, phone and email enquiries into confirmed bookings through consultative sales conversations.
• Sell end‑to‑end travel solutions, including flights, accommodation, tours, cruises, car hire, transfers and travel insurance.
• Achieve individual KPIs and revenue targets while maintaining high customer‑satisfaction scores.
• Manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously and follow up post‑booking to nurture repeat business.
• Utilise booking systems and supplier tools to quote, upsell, book and track reservations accurately.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in travel sales or a comparable customer‑facing, target‑driven sales role.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and upselling products.
• Strong communication skills and confidence selling both in person and over the phone.
• Detail‑oriented, organised and resilient in a high‑volume retail setting.

Required skills

• Experience with Sabre GDS (preferred).
