Talent Management Lead

About the role

We are a fast‑growing tech services and product engineering firm seeking a Talent Management Lead to drive our recruitment and employee experience initiatives. Based in Toronto, you will partner with executives and technical leaders to attract, hire, and retain top software talent while fostering an inclusive workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment covering 70% of the role, including LinkedIn Recruiter sourcing, campus events, and digital hiring campaigns.
• Conduct pre‑screening interviews, coordinate technical interviews with tech leads, and guide candidates through a positive hiring experience.
• Develop and negotiate job offers, ensuring alignment with DEI principles and fair compensation.
• Design and execute onboarding and orientation programs to accelerate new hire integration.
• Maintain employee data for a growing team of 50+, manage salary adjustments, and oversee performance review cycles.
• Drive employee engagement through team‑building activities, appreciation events, and seasonal gatherings.
• Coordinate criminal background, drug, police, and reference checks for all new hires.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and persuasion abilities with a cordial personality.
• Excellent rapport‑building and coordination skills.
• Capacity to learn basic technical terminology and understand tech team needs.

• Awareness of DEI and fair workplace practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter (LinkedIn Recruiter App) for talent sourcing.
• Experience conducting background and reference checks.
• Familiarity with resume screening and social media recruiting tools.
