Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join American Iron & Metal (AIM). Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Supervisor, you will partner with hiring managers across our metal recycling and related business units to build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements and develop recruitment strategies.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle: job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
• Conduct market mapping, direct outreach, and candidate engagement to build talent pipelines.
• Promote AIM’s culture, values, and employer brand to attract top talent.
• Represent the company at job fairs, networking events, and other recruitment activities.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience managing the full recruitment cycle.
• Proven ability to source talent in competitive markets and handle multiple requisitions.
• Strong partnership and influencing skills with hiring managers.
• Understanding of recruitment metrics and data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management focused on candidate experience.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Valid driver’s license.
