Student Recruitment Manager – Quebec & Virtual

About the role

The Student Recruitment Manager will lead Quebec‑focused and virtual recruitment initiatives for McGill University. Reporting to the Associate Director, Recruitment and Communications, the role blends strategic planning, program delivery and stakeholder collaboration to support undergraduate enrolment goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage and deliver virtual programming (webinars, drop‑in sessions, fairs) for domestic and international prospects.
• Plan, evaluate and improve Quebec recruitment and yield strategies, including on‑site visits and events.
• Collaborate with faculty recruitment staff and internal units to align efforts with university enrolment priorities.
• Analyse data, track KPIs and produce reports on recruitment performance.
• Supervise a unionized team, handling workload distribution, coaching and conflict resolution.
• Represent McGill at in‑person, virtual and on‑campus events, delivering presentations and follow‑up support.

Required profile

• Supervisory experience with staff management and coaching.
• Experience advising prospective students on admissions criteria, especially in Quebec.
• Strong data‑analysis ability to interpret statistics and inform recruitment planning.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and public‑speaking skills in English and French.
• Valid Quebec driver’s licence, passport and willingness to travel extensively.
