Senior Underground Mining Consultant

About the role

Are you an experienced Underground Mining Engineer ready to take the next step in your career? Join Mining Plus, a global mining technical services consultancy, to work on diverse, high‑impact underground mining projects across Canada and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review underground mine designs, schedules, and life‑of‑mine plans.
• Complete Mineral Reserve estimates and contribute to NI 43‑101 technical reports.
• Deliver scoping, pre‑feasibility and feasibility studies.
• Conduct technical due diligence, operational reviews and peer reviews.
• Lead consulting projects from planning through delivery and mentor junior professionals.

Required profile

• Degree in Mining or Mineral Engineering with 8+ years of underground mining experience.
• Professional P.Eng. designation or eligibility in Canada preferred.
• Strong project management and client relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and take ownership of project delivery.
