Senior Product & Project Manager

About the role

FieldKit is expanding its environmental sensing technology and needs a senior leader to drive both hardware and software product development while overseeing partner projects worldwide. You will guide a small, experienced team, balance strategic planning with day‑to‑day execution, and ensure that our solutions have a positive impact on conservation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multi‑platform product roadmaps, feature prioritisation, and kanban boards for electrical/mechanical hardware, firmware, mobile apps, and the online data portal.
• Lead design, prototyping, development and release phases across hardware and software.
• Coordinate stakeholder input, including executive leadership and customer support, to shape product direction.
• Create scopes of work, schedules, estimates and deliverables for partner projects; develop strategic plans, allocate resources and mitigate risks.
• Facilitate smooth project workflows, define roles and approval processes, and maintain strong partner relationships.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
• Oversee hardware production, liaise with third‑party manufacturers, engineering and fulfillment teams.
• Support grant reporting and documentation for funded projects.
