Senior Mobile Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to join a fast‑moving team building a high‑impact driver‑facing application used daily by thousands across North America. The role focuses on a React Native product with native iOS and Android components, emphasizing performance, reliability, and user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship end‑to‑end mobile features in React Native from concept to production.
• Work across native layers (Swift, Objective‑C, Kotlin, Java) to implement advanced functionality and debug issues.
• Maintain and evolve mobile architecture, including state management, component design systems, and performance optimization.
• Lead React Native upgrades, dependency management, and platform migrations while ensuring stability.
• Contribute to engineering standards, code reviews, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with product, design, and subject‑matter experts to refine requirements.
• Integrate AI‑assisted development tools to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure high‑quality releases through robust testing and continuous delivery pipelines.

Required profile

• 6‑8+ years of mobile development experience with strong production background in React Native.
• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and deep understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI).
• Hands‑on experience with native iOS and Android development for debugging and feature delivery.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.
