Seasonal Mountain Events Supervisor

About the role

The Seasonal Mountain Events Supervisor will help plan, coordinate and execute safe, fun events at Blue Mountain Resort. Working closely with multiple operating departments, you will ensure the health and safety of guests and staff while delivering memorable experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination and execution of events and sponsorship activations.
• Collaborate with internal departments and third‑party vendors on event preparation and delivery.
• Oversee event team and external staff to maintain safety standards during set‑up, execution and tear‑down.
• Handle payroll coding, timekeeping, scheduling and other administrative duties.
• Maintain up‑to‑date inspection, licensing and training documentation.
• Support employee onboarding, uniform distribution, communication and recognition.
• Monitor daily expenses and labour schedules to stay within budget allocations.
• Ensure accurate MEOs and BEOs for each event and support the Business Unit plan.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of risk management, Occupational Health and Safety Act and Electrical Safety Authority standards.
• Valid G class driver’s licence.
• Experience with snowmobiles or other recreational vehicles is an asset.
• Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and strong skiing or snowboarding ability.
