Dishwasher – Full-Time

About the role

Join Demetres' central commissary in Woodbridge as a Dishwasher. You will keep production equipment, utensils, and food‑contact surfaces clean and sanitized, supporting the creation of handcrafted desserts and ice cream.

Key responsibilities

• Wash, rinse and sanitize equipment, utensils and food‑contact surfaces according to cleaning schedules and SOPs.
• Operate commercial dishwashing and sanitizing equipment safely.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dish pit, wash stations and surrounding production areas throughout the shift.
• Follow proper chemical handling and dilution procedures.
• Document cleaning and sanitation activities as required.
• Report equipment issues, damaged items or sanitation concerns to the production supervisor.
• Assist the team during changeovers and end‑of‑day deep cleans.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lb and bend throughout the shift.
• Reliability – punctual, consistent and dependable.
• Coachability – able to follow written and verbal instructions and adapt to SOPs.
• Bonus: prior experience in a food‑manufacturing or HACCP environment.
