Sales Representative – B2B Supply Chain & Logistics (Alberta)

About the role

Chit Chats Express is seeking a proactive Sales Representative to grow its B2B client base in the supply chain and logistics sector across Alberta. You will be responsible for turning qualified prospects into active shipping customers and ensuring a smooth handoff to onboarding and account management.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound outreach, inbound leads, referrals, marketplace research, and re‑activation campaigns.
• Conduct discovery calls to understand client shipping volume, carrier usage, pain points, platform integrations, and growth potential.
• Qualify prospects based on commercial fit, shipping profile, compliance requirements, operational feasibility, and expected revenue.
• Present Chit Chats services, prepare pricing comparisons, savings summaries, and proposals tailored to each client.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager, Data, Product, and Operations teams to address complex pricing or service‑fit questions.
• Maintain accurate lead, opportunity, and client information in the CRM and track all outreach activity.
• Coordinate with Onboarding and Account Management to ensure a seamless transition after the sale.

Required profile

• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Experience or interest in B2B sales, preferably within supply chain, logistics or transportation.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and comfortable working in a fast‑growing, collaborative environment.
• Ability to analyze client needs and translate them into actionable solutions.

Required skills

• Experience using a CRM system to manage leads and opportunities.
