Plant Operator – FIFO Rotation

About the role

The Diavik Diamond Mine is seeking a Plant Operator to join its award‑winning underground and surface mining operations in Canada. This full‑time, permanent position follows a two‑weeks‑on, two‑weeks‑off FIFO schedule at the Lac de Gras site, supporting safe and sustainable diamond production.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant equipment in accordance with safety and production standards.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery.
• Coordinate with shift teams to ensure continuous plant operation during on‑site rotations.
• Document operational data and report any irregularities to supervisors.

Required profile

• Commitment to a FIFO schedule with two weeks on‑site followed by two weeks off.
• Strong focus on safety and adherence to environmental and community guidelines.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote mining environment.
