Powerhouse Engineer

Dreaming big is in our DNA. Labatt is looking for a Powerhouse Engineer to join a team that combines passion, talent, and curiosity to keep our brewing operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Operate ammonia, CO2, boiler and steam systems according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Effectively operate HVAC units to ensure proper ventilation.
• Perform preventive maintenance routines and complete repairs.
• Update maintenance documentation.
• Follow plant policies on safety, environment, hazard analysis, and critical control points.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid 3rd class engineering certificate with at least 3 years of industrial experience (manufacturing preferred).
• Knowledge of hydraulic or pneumatic equipment.
• Good understanding of PLC troubleshooting and programming.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced environment and able to work with limited supervision.
• Strong work ethic, attendance record, and sense of urgency.
• High energy, initiative, and strong interpersonal skills.
