About the role
WestMET Group Canada Ltd is seeking a reliable Packager to join its manufacturing plant in Halkirk, Alberta. You will work in a fast‑paced, dusty and noisy environment, handling materials and supporting production lines.
Key responsibilities
- Transport items throughout the plant using powered equipment.
- Check and weigh materials and finished products.
- Assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers.
- Perform general labour tasks and clean machines and work areas.
Required profile
- Punctual, dependable and able to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
- Flexibility, initiative and a team‑player attitude.
- Physical stamina for handling loads up to 23 kg and standing for long periods.
