Manager, Product Development

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Product Development to join the Cyber Security Services Program. This role will work closely with the Lead Product Manager to drive the creation of a new, high‑impact product from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Lead Product Manager to define tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
• Maintain a clear and accurate product backlog that reflects the project’s vision.
• Monitor progress, identify blockers, and proactively resolve issues.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams.
• Report status, timelines, and deliverables to key stakeholders regularly.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert and product knowledge leader, championing the customer perspective.
• Lead ideation sessions and coordinate solutioning efforts with architecture and internal teams.
• Manage program intake to optimize resource allocation and timeline commitments.

Required profile

• Strong experience in product development or product ownership within technology projects.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into actionable engineering work.
• Excellent communication skills to align cross‑functional teams.
• Track record of removing impediments and delivering high‑quality outcomes.
