Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining large industrial textile processing equipment as well as general facility systems. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will ensure equipment uptime through preventive and corrective maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on industrial processing equipment, water systems, boilers, and related machinery.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues and respond to daily maintenance requests.
• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test equipment, and make adjustments.
• Continuously seek improvements to maintenance processes and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Study blueprints, manufacturers’ manuals, and electrical schematics to ensure correct operation.
• Adhere strictly to all safety rules, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum two years of maintenance engineering experience with exposure to machinery, electricity, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and boiler systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent; preference for a 5th Class Power Engineer certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
