Machining Tool Operator

About the role

The Machining Tool Operator will operate and set up CNC machines to perform repetitive machining operations. The role includes verifying part dimensions, preparing etching solutions, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The position is full‑time permanent, with early‑morning or day shift options, and requires 2–3 years of relevant experience.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machine tools according to job orders.
• Enter speed, feed and cut codes for computer‑numerically‑controlled toolpaths.
• Verify dimensions of machined parts using micrometers and calipers.
• Prepare and use etching solutions to remove unwanted material.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work area.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Required profile

• Manual dexterity, attention to detail and good hand‑eye coordination.
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lb) and work in a noisy environment.
• Reliability and ability to multitask.

Required skills

• CNC machine operation.
• Precision measuring with micrometers and calipers.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Programming CNC speed, feed and cut parameters.
