Machine Operator – Glass Forming & Finishing

About the role

Durabuilt Windows & Doors Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to join its glass manufacturing team in Edmonton. You will work with both forming and finishing equipment to produce high‑quality glass products for windows and doors.

Key responsibilities

• Record manufacturing data such as quantity, size and type of glass produced.
• Operate finishing machines to grind, drill, sand, bevel, decorate, wash or polish glass.
• Set up and adjust glass forming machines that press or blow molten glass into molds.
• Adjust automatic glass feeding, flowing and forming equipment.
• Visually inspect products for quality and mark defective pieces.
• Weigh, measure and check production samples against specifications.
• Place patterns on or under glass for cutting and operate cutting machinery.

Required profile

• Ability to perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks and handle heavy loads.
• Good manual dexterity, hand‑eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Willingness to bend, crouch, kneel and work in shift, morning, evening or weekend schedules.
