Journeyman Plumber (Full-Time)

About the role

Hall Mechanical Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated Journeyman Plumber to join its team on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will work on a variety of institutional, commercial and industrial projects, ensuring high‑quality plumbing installations while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform plumbing installations and general mechanical system work according to drawings and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to industry‑standard safe work practices.
• Complete administrative tasks, productivity tracking, and quality management.
• Report progress, efficiencies and any safety concerns directly to the site foreman/supervisor.
• Interpret schematics, drawings and specifications to install materials, equipment and systems correctly.
• Collaborate with the team to meet project timelines and budgets.

Required profile

• Registered Journeyman Plumber with a basic security clearance and a clean driver’s abstract.
• 4‑5 years of plumbing experience, preferably in construction environments.
• Strong attitude toward safety, organization and problem‑solving.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Team‑oriented, self‑motivated and results‑driven.

Required skills

• Plumbing installation techniques.
• Hydronic heating and cooling systems.
• Experience with mechanical rooms, grooved pipe, Victaulic and cast‑iron fittings.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics and specifications.
• Knowledge of industry‑standard safe work practices.
