Flashing Installer – Roofing & Solar

About the role

Penfolds Roofing & Solar is expanding its Production Team and seeks a skilled Flashing Installer to support growing demand for roofing and solar projects. You will work on site installing sheet‑metal flashing, ensuring safety, and contributing to high‑quality, sustainable energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and install sheet‑metal flashing using hand and power tools.
• Participate in job‑site safety meetings and enforce safe work procedures.
• Maintain personal and team safety, wearing required protective equipment.
• Manage and monitor project budgets for roofing installations.
• Supervise and mentor less‑experienced workers.
• Report any unsafe acts or conditions to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 70 lb.
• Commitment to high quality and safety standards.
• Knowledge of safe work procedures and regulations.
• Prior experience in sheet‑metal, roofing, or construction.
• Familiarity with various roof systems, fasteners, and tools.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (asset) and completion of a sheet‑metal apprenticeship (strong asset).
