Mechanical Superintendent – Lead Projects

About the role

Hall Mechanical is seeking a dynamic Mechanical Superintendent to lead multiple projects and high‑performing crews. You will report to the Field Operations Manager and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources across several sites.
• Lead, mentor and coordinate Site Supervisors, Foremen and field staff.
• Collaborate with safety teams to enforce and improve safety policies.
• Conduct pre‑planning, design reviews and cost‑effectiveness analysis.
• Proactively address job and schedule delays to minimise losses.
• Oversee quality control and assurance to protect Hall’s reputation.
• Represent Hall Mechanical at site meetings and build strong stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years progressive experience in mechanical construction.
• Hands‑on experience with hydronic heating, cooling, mechanical rooms, grooved, Victaulic and cast‑iron systems (asset).
• Journeyman or Red Seal certification in a mechanical trade; PMP or P.Eng considered an asset.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, building codes and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational, leadership and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as RFIs, change orders and site documentation.
