Senior Project Manager - MicroElectronics

About the role

Veolia's Water Technology Business is hiring a Senior Project Manager for its Industrial Market portfolio. The role is remote and can be based anywhere in North America. The Project Manager guides a team of engineers and professionals that design, build and manage complex water treatment projects, working closely with the Lead Engineer and Sourcing Project Leader from contract signature through equipment design, vendor selection, fabrication, shipment, installation and startup.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of water treatment equipment projects from initiation through completion.
• Define how the contract will be executed and set clear project objectives.
• Develop and maintain realistic plans for scope, budget, schedule and key milestones.
• Coordinate the project team and escalate issues that could affect cost, schedule, scope or quality.
• Monitor progress through regular reviews and reports, adjust plans and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Oversee project changes and support claims management where required.
• Take part in technical meetings, resolve issues with technical experts and discipline engineers, and keep action plans up to date.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or an equivalent field.
• Ten years of experience managing projects that include equipment supply and construction.
• PMP certification, or the ability to obtain it within one year.
• Preferred: experience with Engineering, Procurement contracts, and industrial process system design/construction in water treatment, chemicals, oil & gas or power markets.
• Able to travel domestically and internationally 5-20% of the time; must be eligible to work in Canada.

Salary range: $100,000 - $130,000 CAD.
