About the role
Metrolinx is seeking a Human Resources Services Coordinator for a 12‑month contract to provide front‑line support to employees and people managers. This in‑office position is based in downtown Toronto and works closely with the HR team to ensure timely, high‑quality service across multiple channels.
Key responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound employee inquiries via phone, email, and a case‑management system in real time.
- Track and manage cases through resolution, maintaining quality service standards.
- Develop and maintain HR service documents and intranet resources in partnership with HR.
- Initiate, process, and submit employee documentation such as hires, transfers, leaves, benefits changes, and terminations.
- Coordinate employee data entry into the HRMS to keep records accurate and up‑to‑date.
- Participate in process reviews, root‑cause analysis, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Support HR programs (Organizational Development, Total Rewards, Labour Relations, Talent Management) by distributing information, responding to inquiries, and tracking documentation.
Required profile
- Diploma in a related field (e.g., HR, Business Administration).
- Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly.
- Experience handling employee inquiries and case management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
