Human Resources Advisor

About the role

Join Mega Group’s Human Resources team as a Human Resources Advisor in our Boucherville office. You will act as a trusted partner to managers, guiding them through everyday people matters while helping to shape a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day HR advice to managers on performance management, employee relations, talent development and engagement.
• Coach managers through complex or sensitive employee situations.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle for professional and administrative roles, partnering with hiring managers to define talent needs and hiring strategies.
• Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure a seamless experience for new hires.
• Support performance management processes, employee development plans, and succession planning initiatives.
• Participate in the design, implementation and continuous improvement of HR policies, programs and total‑rewards initiatives.
• Maintain confidential employee records, administer benefits, and prepare HR metrics and reports.
• Stay up‑to‑date on HR trends, employment legislation and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration or related field.
• CPHR designation or eligibility is an asset.
• 5–7 years of progressive HR generalist experience, preferably in a non‑unionized environment.
• Strong background in employee relations, recruitment, performance management and HR best practices.
• Proven ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and coaching skills.
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality and sound judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
