Food Service Team Member

About the role

Join IKEA's Food team as a co‑worker who helps create a safe, enjoyable dining experience for millions of customers worldwide. You will work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment, supporting both the restaurant and Swedish Food Market areas.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food items, including sandwiches, while maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Monitor product expiry dates and ensure freshness of all food offerings.
• Keep work stations clean, organized, and compliant with health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Contribute to IKEA’s brand image by acting as a brand ambassador and delivering excellent customer service.
• Support shipping and receiving activities when needed.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Can‑do attitude, teamwork orientation, and willingness to learn.
• Health‑and‑safety conscious, never cutting corners.
• Minimum 6 months of customer‑service experience in a similar setting (preferred).
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast‑paced environment.
