Food Service Team Member

About the role
Join IKEA's Food team as a co‑worker who helps create a safe, enjoyable dining experience for millions of customers worldwide. You will work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment, supporting both the restaurant and Swedish Food Market areas.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items, including sandwiches, while maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Monitor product expiry dates and ensure freshness of all food offerings.
- Keep work stations clean, organized, and compliant with health‑and‑safety regulations.
- Contribute to IKEA’s brand image by acting as a brand ambassador and delivering excellent customer service.
- Support shipping and receiving activities when needed.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Can‑do attitude, teamwork orientation, and willingness to learn.
- Health‑and‑safety conscious, never cutting corners.
- Minimum 6 months of customer‑service experience in a similar setting (preferred).
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast‑paced environment.
