Executive Vice President, Finance & Investments

About the role

The Executive Vice President, Finance & Investments will serve as the chief strategic and financial partner to the CEO of Options for Homes and Home Ownership Alternatives. This senior leader will guide the organization’s finance, accounting, investment, and shared‑equity mortgage functions while shaping capital allocation and financing strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead finance, accounting, investments, and shared‑equity mortgage operations.
• Develop and execute capital allocation, financing, and portfolio management strategies.
• Provide enterprise‑wide leadership on investment decisions, development projects, partnerships, and risk management.
• Collaborate with the CEO, Board, and external stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
• Oversee financial governance, treasury, and compliance functions.

Required profile

• Seasoned real‑estate executive with deep expertise in finance, investments, and capital markets.
• Proven track record of executing sophisticated transactions and capital strategies.
• Strong leadership across finance, risk management, treasury, and governance.
• Experience in real‑estate development, housing, infrastructure, lending, private capital, or impact investing.
• CPA designation preferred; non‑profit housing or impact‑investing experience is an asset.
