About the role

Mallette, one of Quebec's largest accounting firms, is seeking a Director of Juricomptabilité to join its corporate finance advisory practice. The role combines leadership of damage‑quantification and insurance‑claim mandates with the development of a fast‑growing team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise juricomptabilité engagements, including damage quantification, insurance claim assessments, and occasional fraud investigations.
• Review, correct, and validate complex financial calculations and reports produced by junior consultants.
• Support the associate partner in expanding the practice and mentoring less‑experienced staff.
• Act as an expert witness in court testimonies when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting or finance.
• Minimum of two years of experience in juricomptabilité or related legal‑accounting work.
• Professional designation such as CPA, EEE, CFE, CFF or CFA is an asset.

Required skills

• Financial analysis and modeling.
• Damage quantification methodologies.
• Insurance claim evaluation.
• Fraud investigation techniques.
