Corporate Controller (2‑3 month contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Controller on a short‑term contract to support a manufacturing client in Edmonton. The role focuses on IFRS reporting, multi‑currency consolidation, and driving financial performance during a critical 2‑3 month period.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly multi‑currency consolidated financial statements.
• Lead month‑end close activities, including detailed costing analysis.
• Prepare and present the monthly board package.
• Supervise and develop finance staff.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial and operational systems for greater cost effectiveness.
• Conduct financial analysis and calculate key operating metrics.

Required profile

• Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CA).
• Minimum 5 years of controllership experience.
• At least 7 years of manufacturing costing experience.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience.
• Preferred experience with ERP implementation projects.
