Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead the financial operations of our healthcare institution in Edmonton. The role focuses on optimizing financial performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting senior management with strategic insights.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily financial operations and oversee budgeting and expenditure planning.
• Evaluate and monitor compliance issues, and implement policies and procedures.
• Review budgets, financial reports, and project-specific financial statements.
• Manage contracts, payroll administration, and the collection and analysis of financial data.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership.
• Maintain accurate financial records using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably within a healthcare setting.
• College/CEGEP education in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
