Corporate Controller (2‑3 month contract)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Controller on a short‑term contract to support a manufacturing client in Edmonton. The role focuses on IFRS reporting, multi‑currency consolidation, and driving financial performance during a critical 2‑3 month period.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly multi‑currency consolidated financial statements.
- Lead month‑end close activities, including detailed costing analysis.
- Prepare and present the monthly board package.
- Supervise and develop finance staff.
- Identify and implement improvements to financial and operational systems for greater cost effectiveness.
- Conduct financial analysis and calculate key operating metrics.
Required profile
- Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CA).
- Minimum 5 years of controllership experience.
- At least 7 years of manufacturing costing experience.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience.
- Preferred experience with ERP implementation projects.
