Collision Repair Estimator

About the role

The Collision Repair Estimator works directly with customers, insurance partners and the Body Shop team to assess vehicle damage and provide accurate repair cost estimates. Reporting to the Body Shop Manager, this role ensures a smooth, transparent experience from initial inspection through final repair completion.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally, determine their needs, and conduct walk‑around vehicle inspections.
• Prepare detailed quotes with clear job descriptions and keep customers updated on repair progress.
• Obtain parts and material quotes from external suppliers and coordinate with vendors, insurance companies, and business partners.
• Continuously check in with technicians, relay updates to customers, and resolve any concerns promptly.

Required profile

• Exceptional customer‑service orientation with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain professionalism during high‑volume periods.
• Problem‑solving mindset, detail‑oriented, and capable of working both independently and within a team.

Required skills

• Minimum 3 years of technical collision‑repair experience.
• Mathematical proficiency for accurate estimating.
• Experience with Mitchell estimating and PBS software; ICAR training is an asset.
• Valid BC driver’s license.
