About the role
Innova Law, a fully virtual law firm serving clients across Saskatchewan, is seeking a professional Virtual Legal Assistant to manage daytime phone coverage, client intake, and administrative support. The role is remote and focuses on delivering a friendly, organized first impression to every client or prospect.
Key responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls during business hours and take clear, accurate messages.
- Ask basic intake questions, schedule appointments, and route information to the appropriate team member.
- Escalate urgent matters promptly and maintain a calm, professional tone.
- Manage calendar updates, send follow‑up emails, and organize client documents.
- Update client files, checklists, and internal systems; assist with inbox organization.
- Potentially support recruitment and social‑media tasks as the role evolves.
Required profile
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Professional phone etiquette and strong client‑service orientation.
- Highly organized, reliable, and detail‑oriented.
- Ability to follow scripts, processes, and maintain confidentiality.
- Interest in learning legal office systems and growing with the firm.
