Safety & Security Co‑op Internship – Fall 2026

About the role

Join BCI’s Workplace Services team as a Safety & Security Co‑op Intern for the Fall 2026 term. You will work with the Office of the COO to analyse safety‑related data, identify trends, and support corporate‑wide security projects that protect our facilities and employees.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret data from multiple sources related to physical security, facility safety and business continuity planning.
• Identify trends, patterns and improvement opportunities in office management processes and provide resource projections.
• Assist in day‑to‑day monitoring of physical security and safety across BCI facilities, including incident reporting and management.
• Support the planning, execution and delivery of safety and security projects such as office expansions, training material development and corporate initiatives.
• Prepare and present actionable insights to the team and broader organization.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program related to safety management, security studies, data analytics, business or a similar field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with data and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team‑oriented attitude and willingness to take initiative.
