About the role
Scotiabank is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high‑level administrative support to senior leaders in its Toronto office. The role demands professionalism, discretion, and the ability to anticipate executive needs in a fast‑paced banking environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage complex calendars, schedule internal and external meetings, and resolve conflicts.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, including itineraries, accommodations, and real‑time adjustments.
- Prepare, organize, and distribute meeting materials, presentations, and confidential documents.
- Process expenses, invoices, and reimbursements in line with internal policies.
- Support planning and logistics for executive meetings, off‑sites, and business events.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth communication and execution of priorities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives, preferably at the C‑suite or Group Head level.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
