About the role
Stock Transportation Ltd., a leading provider of school‑bus services in Ontario and Alberta, is seeking an organized Office Administrator/Payroll Administrator to support its corporate office in Markham. You will be the hub for information flow, ensuring accurate data entry, payroll processing, and smooth administrative operations.
Key responsibilities
- Enter daily timesheet data, perform audits, and correct discrepancies.
- Maintain employee and billing information across multiple computer systems.
- Process accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll tasks.
- Generate routine reports and uphold compliance with company policies.
- Manage and secure filing systems, both manual and electronic.
- Perform a variety of general administrative duties and uphold ethical standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong oral and written communication with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Professional demeanor and willingness to report any suspicious behavior.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
- Ten‑key data‑entry skills and basic office equipment operation.
