Senior Epic Ambulatory/Inpatient Analyst & Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Epic Ambulatory/Inpatient Analyst and Specialist to join Accenture’s Advanced Technology Centers. In this role you will work closely with Accenture teams, Epic vendor experts and client stakeholders to design, configure and optimise Epic solutions that support ambulatory and inpatient care.

Key responsibilities

• Document current state business workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
• Analyse and design new workflows aligned with client objectives.
• Define detailed product requirements, use cases and high‑level functional specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects and analysts to set metrics and performance goals.
• Translate requirements into test conditions and expected results for functional, performance and user‑acceptance testing.
• Participate in quality reviews to ensure deliverables meet defined requirements.
• Configure Epic modules, set up integrations and support testing activities.
• Act as liaison between the client’s Epic team and Accenture technical leads to clarify data structures, workflows and technology constraints.
• Assist in the transition of requirements and use cases to ensure clear understanding across teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Epic Ambulatory or Inpatient analyst at a senior level.
• Strong understanding of healthcare business processes and Epic workflow configuration.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and client stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
