About the role
The Department of Psychology seeks a motivated IT Assistant to maintain and expand the Lydon Lab public website, troubleshoot technical issues, and support software development for ongoing research projects. This is a part‑time, work‑study position for students interested in technology and psychology.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the Lydon Lab public website.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for lab users.
- Assist in developing and testing software components for research projects.
- Support server administration on both Linux and Windows platforms.
Required profile
- High School Diploma with at least one year of relevant experience.
- Work‑study student status.
- Strong problem‑solving and resourcefulness.
- Interest in psychology or social psychology is a plus.

What we offer
- Hourly wage of $16.85 (CAD).
- 10 hours per week, onsite at McGill College.
