Grocery Associate – Retail Customer Service

About the role

As a Grocery Associate you will be the front‑line representative of Walmart Canada, delivering friendly and efficient service to shoppers in the grocery department. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in retail operations, stock management and food‑safety practices.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain tidy and well‑stocked grocery aisles, rotating products and removing expired items.
• Price and label merchandise accurately, apply markdowns and signage as required.
• Follow food‑safety, sanitation and health‑and‑safety procedures throughout the shift.
• Assist customers with product inquiries, locate items and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Perform inventory tasks such as down‑stocking, picking, and applying product protection when needed.
• Set up modular displays, flex modules and new shelf caps to keep the department fresh.

Required profile

• Must be at least 16 years old.
