About the role
Ultragenyx is seeking a proactive Administrative Assistant to support its Canadian operations. This remote, full‑time contractor role will be based in the Greater Toronto Area and will work closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the Canadian Vice President & General Manager and functional leads in Medical Affairs, Market Access, Commercial Operations, Marketing, and Canadian field teams.
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments and coordinate virtual and in‑person meetings across multiple time zones using Microsoft Outlook.
- Handle financial processes, expense reporting and related documentation as required.
- Plan and organize meetings, events and special projects delegated by the VP/GM.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and external partners to arrange meetings and ensure smooth logistics.
Required profile
- Self‑starter with strong problem‑solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
- Comfortable working a flexible schedule and handling multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently from a home office in the Greater Toronto Area.
Required skills
- Microsoft Outlook for calendar and meeting management.
