YouTube Content Strategist

About the role

The Martell Group is seeking an experienced YouTube Content Strategist to lead the creative direction of a high‑impact YouTube channel. This senior role blends storytelling, audience psychology, and data‑driven insights to elevate channel performance and drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a long‑term YouTube content strategy aligned with growth and business objectives.
• Research trends, competitors, and audience interests to identify high‑potential video opportunities.
• Create original video concepts with strong viral and evergreen potential.
• Write compelling scripts and build content frameworks that balance entertainment, education, and brand goals.
• Analyze channel performance metrics and recommend optimizations to increase views, retention, and subscriber growth.
• Lead brainstorming sessions, test new formats, and collaborate closely with the CEO on strategic direction.

Required profile

• Significant experience creating and scaling YouTube channels.
• Deep understanding of YouTube storytelling, audience behavior, and content analytics.
• Background in film production, directing, documentary filmmaking, or scriptwriting is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to translate data insights into actionable creative strategies.
