Windows Active Directory Administrator (Hybrid, Toronto)

About the role

We are seeking a Windows Active Directory Administrator to support our BFSI domain in Toronto. This 12‑month contract position offers a hybrid work model (four days on‑site per week) and a competitive hourly rate.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, configure, and troubleshoot Active Directory (AD) and DNS environments.
• Resolve AD replication issues across Windows Server infrastructures.
• Build and maintain server images using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT).
• Promote and manage Domain Controllers.
• Develop and run scripts for port queries, reporting, and automation.
• Execute AD migration projects to Windows Server 2019 R2.
• Perform server staging, validation, and readiness activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Windows Server and AD/DNS administration.
• Hands‑on expertise with MDT and server build processes.
• Strong scripting abilities for automation and reporting.
• Experience in AD migration and server staging.
• Ability to work on‑site four days per week in a hybrid arrangement.
