Wellbeing in Learning Environments Project Coordinator

About the role

The Wellbeing in Learning Environments Project Coordinator joins UBC’s Office of Wellbeing Strategy to drive health‑promotion initiatives across teaching and learning spaces. Working closely with the Wellbeing Strategic Initiatives Project Manager, the coordinator helps embed wellbeing principles into curricula, classrooms, and campus services.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate projects that enhance student and instructor wellbeing.
• Conduct research, stakeholder engagement, and scoping studies to identify priority health topics.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and performance metrics in collaboration with academic units.
• Coordinate with the VP Students portfolio, Health Equity Promotion & Education unit, VP Human Resources Workplace Wellbeing unit, and UBC Okanagan Health & Wellness team.
• Supervise student staff supporting project activities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in project coordination or program management, preferably in health promotion or higher‑education settings.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to engage faculty, staff, and students.
