About the role
Tremonte Manufacturing is looking for a Welding Supervisor to lead a team of ironworkers and welders in its Etobicoke, ON facility. The role involves overseeing production, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating daily activities in a fast‑paced metal products manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare production and other reports.
- Train staff or arrange for training.
- Coordinate and schedule welding activities.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.
- Set up machines and equipment.
- Supervise workers and projects.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 3 to 5 years of experience supervising ironworkers and welders.
- Ability to work in dangerous, noisy and hot environments.
- Organized and detail‑oriented.
