Vice President / General Manager – Defense Manufacturing

About the role

The Vice President / General Manager will lead Indal Technologies, an $85‑100M business unit within Curtiss‑Wright’s Naval & Power Segment. Based in Mississauga, this senior role is responsible for shaping strategy, driving operational excellence, and positioning the business for sustained growth in the naval and defense markets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for strategy, operations, financial performance, customer satisfaction, technology development, and organizational capability.
• Maintain full P&L accountability and ensure robust operational controls.
• Develop and execute initiatives to increase revenue, profitability, cash generation, and operational efficiency.
• Lead business development activities, including geographic expansion, new product development, and deeper customer engagement.
• Build and mentor high‑performing cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Proven senior business leader with strong commercial, operational, and engineering experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead in complex, highly regulated environments.
• Track record of delivering sustainable growth and managing large P&L responsibilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer partnership skills.
